it truly gives the pictures a nice dreamy effect with the night lights. I use this on Leica lenses + camera so can confirm the effect is shockingly amazing for my skill level. lol!it goes on easy on top of my lenses - its great and nifty for what it is and the price ain't that bad compared to other filters. get it!

This is my second order from FX Lens! My first order was through their site and took a bit of time to get to me so I was excited to see that they are now allowing purchases through Amazon. I do creative photography and this is so far the only company that actually sells what they advertise. No complaints here!

Since I don't have an 82mm lens, I needed to get a step-up ring to use this filter. It's indeed a good option if you want to get a certain "dreamy" look for your shots. The filter adds a "glow" to sources of light in your view, and the overall image gets a softer look. However, I find that I can achieve similar results when using a bit of Photoshop magic. Unless you're specifically coming up with a set scene where the dreamy effect is required, this will be put to better use in front of a film camera. Still, it does what it promises, so gets an easy 4 stars...

This filters hands down my favorite when I'm shooting in a city at night or in low light situations. It gives the resulting image a little razzle dazzle that just looks so good. It kind of gives the photo a little bit of a dreamlike quality to it all the bright lights coming in through the lens kind of get hazed out in everything seems to be a little softer. When I'm shooting Kodak 200T film this filter makes night shots in the city just look like something out of a fairy tale, just so nice and dreamy. The construction is really good in the materials are high quality. Overall, this is a fantastic lens filter for city shots at night and I highly recommend it to any photographer looking to up their nighttime game.
