I got this wine bottle stopper because secondly I drink a fair bit of wine but firstly because I recently lost a very good friend who was an avid cyclist and this bottle stopper reminded me so much of him and I will think of him regularly when I use it.Sentiment aside this is a really lovely bronze style representation of a bloke with a flat cap and shorts riding a bicycle; the figure has some real character.It has a nice medium to heavy feel/weight to it and the detail of both the rider and bicycle is very good - he has even got a little water bottle attached to his frame; but no spokes - maybe that would be too intricate.I didnt realise at first but the top/figure unscrews from the bottle stopper (see photos) which may allow you to fit different tops - I havent tried that yet.The item arrived in a nice little plush black velvet type pouch which would be nice if you were giving it as a present, although other bottle stoppers I have had came in nice gift boxes.Anyway, if you have a friend or relative who loves cycling and also drinking, especially bottled alcohol like wine this would make a lovely gift.For me, it will always remind me of Geoff who loved his cycling as much as his wine.

I love the design of this wine bottle stopper, it's well crafted and the motorcycle is well detailed.However the stopper is only just big enough even when pushed fully into the bottle. To me it just doesn't seem quite tight enough to provide an effective seal - I definitely would not want to lie a bottle down for wear of the stopper coming out.Maybe it is the bottles I have tried it on but they all seem fairly standard size.It does however fit better in beer and cider bottles - I could even turn the bottle upside down and the stopper stayed in place.Overall as a wine bottle stopper the seal could be better but for beer drinking bikers it would make a great novelty gift.

This is an excellent bottle stopper, designed for use in a wine bottle once opened to help keep the wine fresh, it adds a bit of class to an everyday tool.I understand that this is one of a range of stoppers, so if you like collecting things this could appeal to you for that reason, if not and you like motorbikes its still attractive. Finished in an antique brass style it carries a motorcycle modeled (I think as I'm not a bike expert) a Triumph style bike. Regardless if you like a drop of wine, don't always finish a bottle (or last bottle) this gives you a method for keeping it fresh for a day or two extra.The stopper is pretty heavy and well made and features several rubber rings to help make it airtight when fitted into your wine bottle. I would speculate you could also use this as an alternative stopper for a bottle of spirits as well instead of a cork if they use one just to add a bit of class to your drinks cabinet.Pretty nice item at a reasonable price.

This is a very nice wine bottle stopper in the shape if a motorcycle.This has been well made and the attention to detail is amazing.It's great quality and value for money.It's a good size would make a great present it comes in a box.It works really well.
