These are perfect for teaching fractions they are colorful so its easy to match them up to make a whole or even mix and match because the are all the same size circles. These are way thicker then I was expecting and I'm sure their going to last for me to be able to use them with all 3 of my children.

These magnets are nicer than I had expected! They’re sturdy and strong due to the firm foam layer. They don’t bend easily and I feel will hold up for a long time. Each piece was easy to peel apart without damaging anything. My toddler really loves the rainbow colors and the font is easy to read. There are just a few cons about this set but not a real deal breaker considering the quality:If using an upright magnetic surface like the side of a fridge, you won’t be able to stack the pieces over one another since the top layer of each piece is made of foam. The magnetic layer is on the bottom side only, which is covered by foam. It’s best to use this on a floor if you’re wanting to stack the magnets. And if you prefer to teach by stacking, just know some of the colors are pretty similar and makes it a little hard to distinguish between some of the pieces. For instance, the whole piece (“1”) is bright red, while the halves are hot pink, and the thirds are bright orange. These colors are way too close together and it’s kind of hard to tell them apart when stacked. However, the colors DO pop out when you don’t stack the pieces. If you use everything in a single layer (as shown in the listing photos), it looks great.I probably shouldn’t knock off a star for this, but the box is underwhelming and doesn’t fit everything back inside very easily unless you spend some time laying everything out. Wish it was a hard case or a better box that had more wiggle room so we can quickly clean up. I did move all my pieces to sliding ziplock bags to keep everything organized and better contained inside the box.Overall we are thrilled to have this set since it does seem bigger than other fraction kits we’ve looked at. We are actually using this with our 3.5 year old as we’re currently learning basic math concepts through baking/cooking, and this set has been very helpful in understanding measurements in fractions. Right now she loves putting the “pieces of pizza” together and stacking pieces on top of the whole circle. We will be looking forward to using these over and over as we do more advanced math later down the road. Would recommend!

These magnetic manipulatives are fantastic learning tools. We can stick them to magnetic surfaces and build up to make a whole. The pieces are all different colors and clearly labeled for beginning learners. These tiles make it fun and easier to teach younger children fractions without added stress or drawing them out.

This set is great! My daughter needed a set for her kids who are learning fractions. They are laminated so they will be easy to clean if younger siblings get a hold of them. They are thick and the magnet backs stick well to the fridge. The magnets aren't strong enough to layer the fraction pieces. Not that you'd really need to. They stick just fine to the fridge or a cookie sheet. There are so many pieces, which is nice for working addition problems. I do recommend getting another container because once I pulled them out and took them apart there's no way I'll get them to fit back in the box. Highly recommend!

Bought for my classroom to use during remediation and intervention. Thin and flexible, but strong enough to stick to my whiteboard. The colors are bright and the labeling is accurate. They are a lot bigger than I thought they would be!
