This was my first time installing some Cat8A cabling to a socket like this one. I did some mistakes and I'd like to share them for easier experience amongst other folks.After you slip the individual wires into their correct places make sure that you trim the cables REALLY SHORT. Micro knipex side cutters recommended. I used regular electrician sized ones and oh boy did I have a good time chasing after a short in the cable etc... The product itself is really good and after I found my mistake. The second socket was easy-peasy!The clamshell closes on the connection easily and makes the unpleasant handling of CAT8A grade cabling as easy as possible.The instructions don't tell you how to assemble the outer shell etc so pay attention on the direction you insert the keystones to the metallic frame. Mind the angle of the cable and the notch side should be upward so you can actually disconnect the patch cables themselves...You might need a small flatblade screwdriver to help you click the keystone holder into its place (my fat fingers always betray me). I'll buy two more for some additional cable runs after writing this.

Ist vom Aufbau total unbrauchbar für starre Netzwerk Kabel. (Cat8)Auch konnte ich keine ordnungsgemäße Verbindung zwischen Stecker und Dose herstellen.

Im Innern ist es eine ganz normale Doppelsteckdosem mit Buchsen für RJ45, CAT8 Qualität. Die Front ist soweit OK. Enttäuscht hat mich das Gehäuse, das sich auf unebenem Untergrund leicht verzieht und mit der Frontplatte nicht abschließt. Da diese Installation im Keller sitzt, hatte ich gerne eine IP44
