The large end fits inside a Makita planer KP0810 and is about 44mm+ OD (1.75").The vac end is about 37mm+ OD (1.466+", tapering larger) and 32mm ID (One of my old rubber vacuum hose ends fits over the 37mm end.Neither end will mate to a 27mm Festool nozzle.

I bought this for the intended Makita electric hand planer, but it doesn't stay on. Even screwed on at its tightest, it still manages to pop out at the corner.

Using a vacuum attachment is the best way to keep dust to a minimum. Pair it with a tool/vacuum switch and sand away.

Saw this part featured in the manual but no part number referenced. Luckily it showed up during my search on Amazon or I would be super annoyed trying to hook up the vacuum hose. Makita could do a better job of selling it as a kit or include with the tool.

Simple directional elbow for Makita planer, but you will need Makita 451329-1 Dust Extracting Nozzle, KP0800K adapter that replaces original discharge chute or this will not fit
