I have worked as a professional videographer and camera man, but just wanted a cheaper entry level tripod for use at home with my DLSR. I pick this up on sale for under £100. I have been really impressed with the quality and performance of the tripod and head, which lives up to the quality you would expect for Manfrotto and matches and compairs well to much more exspensive tripod and heads in their product range.Build quality is standard Manfrotto, so I should give make years of service. It only has basic features like only one mounting for a control arm and no additional mounting point for extra equipment, but does include a spirt level bubble for levelling the tripod, which is useful and nice. The mounting plate on the head is a standard Manfrotto plate and interchangeable and compatible with there other video heads (I have tested this). It also includes the extra safety realease button to stop the plate sliding out of the mount if you have forgotten to do it up correctly. The head has no adjustments on it, but the locking screw knobs are smooth and progressive, so can use them to give you some control and resistance of movement when using the tripod for shooting video. I was impressed with smoothness of motion for such a cheap fluid head and found the head easy to setup and balance, which made it a joy to use. I also like the flip left/right leg angle adjustment on the top of each leg, which lets you spread the tripod legs out farther for a more stable and lower postioning of the camera. I found these easier to use than the standard ones found on more exspensive Manfrotto equipment. I found the tripod to be light weight and compact in size. This is a realitive thing and compairs to what you are used to. I have seen other reviews complaining that the tripod and head are heavy and Manfrotto themselves make a lighter tripod, but compaired to a professional camera/head/tripod setup that you would use for pro production quality footage, this tripod and head weighs in at a very low weight. I have used monopods which weigh more than this setup.As a final test I used this tripod on a professional job to see how it would compair, filming a music gig. The tripod and head were used with a professional quality Sony camera to capture the action on the stage from a riser halfway down the right-hand side of the venue. Once setup and balanced correctly the setup was a joy to use. All the video filmed was stable with smooth motion and the editor made a point of commenting how good all the footage was for that camera.All I can say is well done Manfrotto for putting together such a good quality package for such a low price.

Ein sehr guter Stativ für gutes Geld.

Ottimo cavalletto pensato per i video/filmmaker con una semplice testa mobile che è, comunque, funzionale. Naturalmente è un cavalletto da viaggio che offre, però, un'ottima stabilità e robustezza con, al contempo, gradevole leggerezza. Si percepisce che è un signor cavalletto e non una cinesata.La testa fluida in dotazione funziona bene, rimane fluida anche con pesi abbastanza sostenuti (il mio rig arriva ai 3,5 / 4 kg in certi casi) ma non è regolabile in precisione sulla resistenza del movimento. La vite dell'inclinazione va stretta forte, altrimenti tende a spostarsi e inclinarsi sempre di più (sempre con pesi importanti) dato che non c'è un sistema a contrappeso.

Zakupiłem ten statyw Manfrotto jako zamiennik mojego poprzedniego stabilnego, ale ciężkiego statywu z głowicą kulową. Jego główną zaletą jest niska waga, jest rzeczywiście niezwykle lekki. Jednakże, jeśli masz doświadczenie z wysokiej jakości statywem z głowicą kulową, prawdopodobnie będziesz rozczarowany tym modelem. Brakuje mu pożądanej płynności podczas filmowania, co ogranicza jego przydatność. Ponadto, nie czuję się pewnie umieszczając na nim aparat o wartości 4000 dolarów, co budzi obawy co do jego stabilności i bezpieczeństwa.

Wirklich ein tolles Stativ. Es gibt sicherlich kompaktere Stative, aber es tut was es soll zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Mit einem Camcorder oben drauf wackelt auch nix.Das Highlight ist definitiv der Kopf. Damit macht Filmen richtig Spaß.

Auf dem Kopf steht "Fluid Drag System", davon habe ich nichts bemerkt. Ich habe mir den Videokopf von Manfrotto 200 aufgeschraubt, sehr gute Schwenks.

This is an amazing tripod, the fluid head is very smooth and the legs are heavy which definitely helps with stabilization. I think the only downside of this tripod is that you can't really take it for travelling, since it's pretty heavy and the legs don't fold a lot. But great if you only shoot at home.For me, it is a perfect product!

Por el precio que esta bien tienes un tripode de calidad de una marca de renombre, va perfectamente para càmeras de vídeo de menos de 4 kgs. buena compra. Pero la funda no esta incluida hay que comprarla aparte, jo compre la funda Manfrotto de 60 cms, que va perfectamente (La de 70 cms tambien puede ser)

Zoek je een zeer stevig simpel DSLR-statief voor een mix van 80% fotografie en 20% video, dan is dit een mooi exemplaar. De olie gedempte kop maakt tilt- en horizontale bewegingen gladjes en soepel. De slider zorgt dat elke combi van camera+lens op de kop netjes in balans is. Waterpas is ingebouwd. De driepoot wiebelt niet, nul: Manfrotto levert kwaliteit die vér boven de €20-€50 euro statiefjes staat.

Das Stativ sieht gut aus... das wars dann aber auch schon wieder... Hauptproblem an diesem Stativ ist die Tragkraft. Diese ist zwar mit 4kg angegeben und meine Kamera wiegt nur 1,5kg. Trotzdem war es nicht möglich, nach unzähligen Versuchen einen Schwenk hinzubekommen, bei dem der Kopf nicht nachschwingt. Das fällt zwar bei 24mm Brennweite nicht so auf, bei 70mm ist es aber ganz extrem offensichtlich, dass nach Ende der Schwenkbewegung das Bild regelrecht (nach-)zittert. Zweites Thema ist die Dämpfung. Diese ist so schwach, dass man sich beim Schwenken die Frage stellt, ob das Stativ nun eigentlich dämpft oder nicht. Auch ein Nachstellversuch an den Schrauben bringt da nichts. Leider kann ich mich damit den Erfahrungen anderer Kunden nur anschließen. Design Top, der Rest kann leider nichts, in dieser Preisklasse ist das absolut nicht akzeptabel.

Très bon investissement robuste et fluide.Pas léger mais ce porte agréablement pour les changement de plans rapide.Ce range facilement et ne prends pas de place.
