I bought this spring jacket for my almost 12 year old. It's very light weight but comfortable enough for a mild chilly day. The inner lining keeps the warmth and the outer material keeps the water away. Very happy with the purchase.

This coat fits true to size. It is a bright cheerful pink. The lining is a comfortable striped jersey knit fabric. The exterior is an extremely crinkly water resistant fabric. The noise it makes when you move is pretty annoying. It will keep you dry in a drizzle or for a short walk in a downpour, but it is not designed for prolonged use in the rain. The fabric is water resistant rather than waterproof and the zippers don't keep water out. It does have 3 zippered pockets and a cinch to keep the hood on. It is well sticker with no loose threads and the zippers work well. It would be a decent windbreaker if it wasn't for the noisy fabric. It's definitely not a rain jacket.

Tkis rain jacket was for my granddaughter. She is happy with the color and also the fit. She is 10 years old and i ordered a size 12. She wears a school uniform and this solid color was perfect for school.
