Sobald der Deckel geschlossen ist, bleiben die Farben für Tage, sogar Wochen nass und in verarbeitbarem Zustand. Die luftdichte Acrylpalette verfügt über einen patentierten Schwammeinsatz und spezielles durchlässiges Palettenpapier. Zusammen versorgen sie Acrylfarben und andere wassermischbare Farben mit einer konstanten Feuchtigkeitsquelle. Befeuchten Sie den Schwamm und legen Sie ihn in die Farbpalettenablage, dann legen Sie das Palettenpapier darauf. Wenn der Deckel geöffnet ist, haben die Farben eine längere Öffnungszeit. Wenn der Deckel geschlossen ist, behält die Masterson Palette eine feuchte Atmosphäre, die Farben konserviert. Neben der Verwendung mit wassermischbaren Farben kann die Sta-Wet Palette als Ölfarbenpalette verwendet werden. Zur Verwendung mit Ölen entfernen Sie einfach Schwamm und Palettenpapier und verwenden Sie die abgedeckte Farbpalette zum Aufbewahren von Ölfarben (Ölpalettenpapier nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). Der Deckel hat fünf Zinken, die strukturelle Stabilität bieten und verhindern, dass der Deckel mit den darin gelagerten Farben in Berührung kommt. Der Arbeitsbereich für die Mischpalette beträgt 30,5 x 40,6 cm, wodurch sie ideal für Projekte ist, die eine maximale Palettenoberfläche benötigen. Jede Masterson Palettenbox enthält fünf Blatt "Sta-Wet" Palettenpapier für Acrylfarbe, einen Zellulose-Schwamm, spritzgegossene Künstlerpalettenablage und Deckel sowie eine vollständige Anleitung zur Vorbereitung und Verwendung. Die Masterson Sta-Wet Premier-Palette wird in den USA hergestellt.

Diese Stay Wet Palette hat mich wirklich enttäuscht. Der wabbelige und deformierte Deckel lässt sich nur schwer schließen. Wann man bei der nervigen Aktion einen Teil nicht richtig angedrückt kriegt, trocknet die Farbe im Innern rasch aus. Alles in allem macht das Produkt auf mich einen billigen Eindruck. Der einzige Vorteil ist die Größe, doch was nützt diese, wenn der Deckel nur halbseiden schließt?!Von mir definitiv keine Kaufempfehlung!

Perfetta per i colori acrilici che restano umidi e utilizzabili anche per 5 giorni. Ovviamente la palette deve essere chiusa bene a fine lavoro.

The idea is for the colors not to dry, the lid is very difficult to close and because it does not close all the way, the colors dry .I am pretty disapointed from this article.

Leider lässt dich der Deckel nur mit größter Kraft öffnen und vor allem auch schließen. Außerdem sind im Deckel gussnasen( zur Stabilisierung?) die bis auf die Farben reicht und dadurch verschmieren. Für mich so leider nicht nutzbar. Schade. Artikel geht zurück.

The Masterson Sta-Wet Premier Palette does precisely what it says-my acrylic paint certainly has not dried out one bit despite a couple weeks of neglect.The box is made of white plastic and is very roomy. The bottom is not totally flat though-a number of crisscrossing plastic lines make it uncomfortable to hold. Coupled with the size of the box, it makes for a poor palette, so expect to keep this grounded unless you opt for a smaller size.The lid is a flexible red plastic and snaps down when aligned correctly. It has numerous circular support columns that will touch paint, so ensure that you're always putting the lid on the same way you did before, or else you will contaminate your colors.The palette itself stays wet due to a durable sponge and some special paper. You soak the sponge and paper to start, and then add water periodically to the sponge as needed. Since the box is relatively air tight with the lid closed properly, the sponge does not need to be as thoroughly soaked when stored since less evaporation will occur (I could never get it to be fully "airtight" as claimed, so I was susceptible to some water loss). Indeed, the instructions directly warn you against over saturating when not in use as mold may develop. I have had the product for a few weeks now and have only ever had to add water once.I use the palette exclusively for acrylic paint. Due to the nature of the Sta-Wet system and because acrylic is water-based, my paint does thin out a little bit. It stays mostly in the area I mix it in, but be sure to allow for some spreading when mixing your paints.The box comes with five sheets of paper that sit atop the sponge, and they can be easily cut when dry. The instructions claim that the paper can withstand mixing from even metal tools, and I can attest that it holds it very well to plastic ones.Overall, I'm very happy with it. The price is already low, but I believe the box has already saved me a good bit in non-wasted paint. It certainly has saved me a lot of frustration from having to remix colors, and as an untrained hobbyist painter, that's invaluable.
