This is a substantial size and not to be confused with a brooch even though it has a pin at the back. It needs to be sewn onto the garment you wish to glam up but it doesn't take long using black thread and a loop stitch. But I am planning to sew mine onto a broad wrap that can be tied around the waist or used as a shoulder piece. The inner flower moves as do the black crystal beads, very unique accessory.

This applique is gorgeous, and HUGE. Seriously big! It's definitely going to be a focal point on your outfit, and will look amazing no matter what you put it on. I got it in black and I'll be putting it on the chest of a dark green pinafore dress. Despite it having a pin I would consider this a permanent applique rather than a giant transplantable fabric brooch, as while you can pin it onto your clothes and move it from outfit to outfit, that just makes the upper half flop over and look bad. Sewing it around the edges will keep it flat on your fabric, and it's good quality so it will survive a trip through the washing machine, letting you still launder your clothes normally. You can also pop a larger item like a dress into a pillowcase before washing if you want a little extra security for your sequins but can't fit it into a regular laundry bag.It's giant, it's dramatic, and it has two layers so it's not flat. It's such an easy way to add interest or elegance to a plain outfit, I like it!
