The rubber smell won’t go away and I’ve tried everything. Washed it with soap, vinegar, let sit in the sun outside for wks and the smell persists. I used it for chicken feed instead of water and my chickens didn’t want to eat from it.

I use these to keep our chickens watered in the winter since we aren't able to get a reliable source of electricity to the coop to use a heated bowl. They work great because you can just pop the chunk of ice right out and refill it. The material is high quality so I have no worries about durability, and the price is great too!

Very good quality although this size is too small for a pony. Next size up is perfect
