Best piece of equipment my z7 could ever get to get more fish, 1. My lake gets huge waves all the time, spot lock works perfectly holds tight to any spot at any depth, remote operations is flawless can run from anywhere in the boat love it, navagation connect to hummingbird helix 7 is super cool can follow any depth range flawlessly, the circle way point is also a plus circle what ever distance from the waypoint you like without spooking fish, plus you can drop your boat off in the water and remotely drive it back to the dock step right on the deck of your boat no tie up rope, I bought a 15’ Minn Kota talon last year never used since I bought the trolling motor,I may sell my 15’ talon next spring, works great and like it but due to it just doesn’t get used anymore and just sits on the boat doing nothing. Buy a Minn Kota ulterra you will be happy

Great trolling motor! Auto deploy is sweet! My boat is a tiller model so this saves a lot of time. Hit a few buttons and the motor is down and spot locked. Ipilot with link is great as well, I wont be without it in the future.

I have always used Minn Kota motors, but this unit excels in all areas. If you have not looked into this, it is a must. The contour connect with Hummingbird Helix 7 is just baffling. The auto deploy and retract are so wonderful when you are out at anchor, or trolling. Much more enjoyable not having to do all the extra work. I highly recommend!

It does everything it says and more. I don’t know where to start......wind....no problem, just point it in the right direction and forget it. Need to retire? Hit spot lock and never move. Fish all day and have enough battery left to fish all night. This is the quietest motor I have ever run. It is completely silent until you get up to the 4 setting.Cons: the cables are very expensive to network the unit. You can’t mount the 369 on the shaft.
