Shoes are nice. They arrived in good shape. They are articulated and will fit well over my boots size 10.5 Army Boots. The toe extends well beyond the tip of the boot but that is expected. I will have to working on something to hold them in place however because right now they just rest on top of the boots. There is nothing to prevent them from flapping around while running.

I knew that this was costume armor, but was delighted to find them fitting my work boots, size 9 1/2, well. They do need some straps on the bottom to hold them to your shoes. Not bad at all.

These things are HUGE! When I got them out of the box, I thought there was some kind of mistake as they appear to be made to fit size 14-plus! I bought these to complete a wearable display ensemble, otherwise I probably would opt for just leather boots if participating in mock-battles. After taking them apart, shortening the lames and re-riveting them, they are now normal size and I must say, look pretty good, especially for the price. If you can't do rudimentary metal-work, and don't wear very large shoes, be prepared to pay 3-4 times more for more custom size sabatons.

they arent as nice as in the pic; mine are more like strips of steel riveted together. no shaping as the photo suggests.
