I've used this fan for a couple of weeks, and it has been great at my desk and cubicle for circulating air. There is nothing much to operating this fan—just plug it in via USB—and it has three speeds. The fan is quiet so it has not interfered with phone calls or conversations. I've been able to use it with a battery packs USB port as well. The controls are intuitive, so you likely won't even need the instructions. The fan does not offer a cool effect, however the circulated air it gives off is perfect for small spaces.

⭐This little desktop fan is like a little hurricane! It moves a lot of air for being something that is just a bit larger than the palm of my hand. Even on just setting 1 it is powerful -- at setting 3 it is fully blowing my hair away from my face.⭐The size and stability make is absolutely perfect to keep on my desk (or to travel with for a hotel bedside table) for those pesky hot flashes. And it is very stable -- I don't have to worry about it falling over or knocking things over on my desk.⭐I love that the fan rotates up and down almost 360 degrees with no clicking or set notches, so you can angle this exactly as you want it and it stays put. 👉There were 2 reasons I deducted a star (and really wish I could just deduct just 1/2 star) - and they are actually the same cause. First is that it is so powerful that at times it actually pushes itself around on my desk (especially if there is any tension at all on the cord). I wish the little rubber traction strip on the foot had either a bit more traction or a bit more weight -- but at the price point under $5 I really can't complain, and I can easily fix it on my own. Secondly, the fan itself is whisper quiet, but because the base is light it actually vibrates/rattles up and down making everything very noisy. With a little weight or tape on the base, both issues are solved - but thought they were important to mention.

This is a handy little desktop fan. Puts out a nice, comfortable breeze on low and is very quiet - on low. It's very simple. Plug into a USB A and there is a power button in the center of the back. Press once for low speed, again for medium and a third time for high. Low speed is pretty much my only use. Creates a comfortable breeze without being in a wind tunnel and is really quiet. High speed is pretty loud and pretty "windy". My primary use though is to circulate air around computer equipment in an enclosed area, and for that, it's perfect. I can just plug into a USB plug and let it run. AND, it runs off my USB powerpak in a pinch. Hard to lose for $5.

This item arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition.I use a desk fan almost every day at work and my old one broke so I ordered this mini fan, hoping it would do the trick.I was worried when it first arrived because it was so tiny compared to my old one. This one is about 5 inches in diameter and my old one was about 8 inches.However, I was very pleasantly surprised when I plugged this fan in to my USB port on my laptop and turned it on!It has three speeds, low, medium, and high. For such a tiny little thing, it really has some fantastic power for a desk fan!!My only complaint is that the bottom of the fan has two little plastic sections it sits on. The front section has a little cushion pad for keeping the fan in place and for making sure it doesn't vibrate. However, when you turn the fan on, the back section of the base vibrates the plastic on hard surfaces. The sound was driving me nuts so I put a small mouse pad under it to keep it from vibrating. Other than that, it is a great little fan. I could also see this little thing being handy when I travel!Four stars for being exactly as described and being super powerful yet so small, but I took one star off for the vibration of it and having to use a mouse pad to keep it from making noise on my desk.
