No directions came with it so I’m not sure if it is installed correctly or not. Should have some kind of instructions with it.

Product works, and it probably would be a 5 star review but I didn’t want to drill into my camper. The bungees included worked to hold it up, but it still looks a bit lopsided. Definitely provides shade and a little privacy.

Blocks the sun very well good product

We just spent two weeks camping and the evening sun was killing us. Our camper was facing south and so the western sun killed all of our shade after about 4:00pm, even though we had shade trees around us. I decided to order a shade to put on the end of the awning like I've seen other people have and this is the one I came up with. It appears to be very well made and will provide a fair amount of shade. It's not going to be a complete blackout which I didn't really want anyway. The shade also comes with two plastic states to stake the bottom width. I will probably use metal states, but you never know. It also comes with bungee cords to attach it to your awning. In addition to the bungee cords there are hooks that you can mount on the side of your camper and use that way, but I don't know that I'll do that. I am looking forward to going camping next time and having shade for a longer period of time each day.

This is made of very nice mesh material. I had a sun shade for my Jeep with this same mesh cloth, and it blocks a lot of the sun's heat as well as UV. In the case of the Jeep, it cut down on wind blast as well.I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons.One, because it seemed to be designed for some specific awning I don't have. (Grommet placement) The Trail Lite has a Colorado Carefree awning as found on a gazillion trailers, so mine certainly isn't unique.And, two, there are no grommets anywhere but the corners.The lack of grommets isn't all that big of a deal as I can just use spring clamps to hold the shade to the awning's supports. I always carry a half dozen of those big clamps in the RV because they're handy for a lot of things. It would've been nice to have one or two more grommets in each side so I could use the ball-bungees to wrap around the support bar.In my photos, I set it up two ways. The first was the short end along the side of the awning, and it's about the right length. It drags the ground, and to have the wall side hang straight means having the awning bar too low to walk under.The second way was the long end along the awning, and the length to the ground was about right. I wrapped a ball-bungee around the awning bar, and that worked pretty good. The extra material at the wall folds in, blocking the sun better than having a gap. As before, spring clamps will be your friend.In my decades of camping experience, I can tell you that the sun moves around and you have to follow it with the awning and/or a shade. Spring clamps will allow this same large cloth to attach to the valance to block the sun from the awning bar edge as well as the sides.Comes in a carrying case with two plastic ground anchor spikes, and a few ball-bungees. Also includes two (what looks to be stainless steel) hooks that you can screw in for permanent attachment points. With the ball-bungees and spring clamps, I don't plan on drilling holes in the RV's wall.I was in the driveway to do this setup and/or review, I didn't wait to go camping with it first. I can see how it's going to work, and it'll be nice to have for sitting in the shade, as well as blocking some of the sun's heat from broiling the RV. My roof is covered in solar panels, so a lot of heat gets blocked from above.
