Any time I see something that opens or closes via turning a knob, I always assume I'll be standing there for 5 minutes to get the clamp jaws open enough for my purpose. There's some magic involved in how quickly this mount's clamping jaws can be adjusted...and its easily the thing that impresses me most about this product.The bendable portion of the mount is sturdy and stiff...which means it will stay where you put it. I appreciate that the phone holder can be installed in both horizontal and vertical orientations.I was slightly disappointed with the length of the mount, as some of the product images make the mount appear longer than it is.Otherwise, I'm pleased with this product.

This super clamp is a beefy accessory to up your action camera game. It is made incredibly well, with thick aluminum and rubbery grips and a strong yet pliable flexible arm. If you have owned a regular Neewer clamp, you know how well they are made. Expect that, but with the addition of a highly adaptable positioning arm.While your traditional action camera jaw clamp has a tension spring closure, this is a twisting knob that is tightened or loosened by hand. It will technically take a couple of seconds longer to mount and unmount the clamp, but by doing so you have much more control over its grip and placement. The clamp has flip out feet, too, so you can easily 'grab' onto more types and sizes of surfaces.It comes with an action camera mounting adapter and a phone adapter that can be used on the 1/4" stud. Both of those are just okay and made of plastic. The value is in the clamp and neck itself. Even though it is easy to move positions, the arm will not give to the weight of larger attachments. My testing included an iPhone 15 pro max, a Smallrig Pix M160 RGB light and a GoPro Hero12. The arm had no problem securely holding any of these.Whether you are mounting a camera, microphone, LED light or whatever else you can think of, this gets the job done and gets it done WELL.

i've been a photo geek for many years and own A LOT of camera equipment. i've used a lot of gooseneck mounts in the past and this is by far one of the best ones i've had. the flexible part is not very long but it is pretty thick compared tp the other ones i've had, which is really nice because when you put a heavier camera or some combination of lights and camera with some weight to it, the thiner ones just wobble around and make it difficult to get good images. the clamp on this one is heavy duty metal and has articulating ends that make it possible to mount on the end of a desk without damaging it. the ends also have rubber pads so the clamp doesn't slip off. the ends also slide out of the way making it possible to mount it on a pole like all the other clamps. the phone holder is super nice too, with a really strong clips, a cold shoe mount and two extra 1/4" screw holes for accessories. the clamp has a bunch of extra 1/4" threaded holes on it too, making this a very versatile package for something it's size. the action cam mount that it comes with is really nice too with a metal nut that doesn't fall off when you take the bolt off. i have a lot of other neewer gear already, but this is definitely one of my favorite pieces in a while. would highly recommend this gooseneck mount
