I was hesitant, but for just a few dollars I was hopeful. I have an lsi-9211 raid card that was in my only other pcie 16 slot I intend for a second graphics card, but only had x1 slots left. Given the card was built for 2.0 standard and the slots are 3.0 I am not losing performance so far as I can tell for my use. I was lucky enough to have a screw long enough to span the extended distance between the IO cover slot & case now that the card is an inch farther away. I also put a wedge of non conductive material under just for added protection. Value is great since I don't need a new board. Quality is good with no noticable defects. System took a little longer to boot the first time after install, but the raid is managing 3 8tb disks so I'm not going to hold that against it. 4 stars just because I would like a good way to mitigate the support issue.
