I was looking for a doormat to lie outside my back door. The ground isn't 100% level, so the movement that this mat offers along the length of the slats makes it perfect for the job.Apart from the obvious job of cleaning the worst of garden debris from shoes, I wanted a mat that would be slip-free. Initially, I wondered whether the slim profile of this mat would afford it a good grip, but I need not have worried. Even when the mat itself is wet, there's no slipperiness underfoot.

Put this outside the front door where I have no porch. Other mats just get soaked when it rains and the water puddles underneath. Not this one. Water drains away beautifully. Looks very robust and think it will last for years. I’m very pleased and would recommend.

Just got the product. Much smaller than the box it came in. Otherwise, appears sturdy and preventing dirt and leaves coming in on the soles of shoes/boots.
