This safety first lanyard is a must for all small boat owners with outboard engines, as long as it fits your outboard of course. This fits my Yamaha and its going in my boat safety kit box to be used if my current one gets broken or misplaced. At review time this was priced at £7.59Pleased to have this in my kit.

I actually didn't order this item on purpose, so I cannot comment as to its functional capability as I do not have an outboard motor.With regards to the manufacture of it though, it seems like it should do the trick. The curly cord seems well made and the plastic stop is attached to it securely enough. The cord stretches easily and the looped ends are securely crimpedOn the opposite end is a carabiner style clip, but that seems a little on the thin side although it is probably designed to be so that it easily hooks through items.

Does the job would recommend well made time will tell if the sun and sea water effetc it will update after a few months
