The dishes arrives smashed into thousands of tiny shards, glass was falling out the cracks of the boxes. This item is leathel. I can only imagine the hassle if these had broken while cooking. I wish I could give less thank 1 star. Do not buy.

The glass dishes are a good size, unusually deep & sit nicely inside each other. The colour of the glass isn't clear as in the pictures, it's got a tint to it, (something that you don't expect to see in brand new glass - looks recycled from glass that contained green bottles to me - I hope this doesn't mean the glass isn't toughened as that would be dangerous).The lids are POOR QUALITY and virtually useless! They don't fit properly (a bit too big) and don't clip or fix to the glass in any way, so just SIT LOOSE on top of the glass (and fall off easily)! The listing says they aren't leak proof but that is an UNDERSTATEMENT - they just don't fit on the dishes at all! As they aren't anywhere near airtight, simply sitting loose on top, and not suitable for the microwave, the lids are almost useless and a WASTE OF TIME!I'd rather pay a few quid less for just the set of glass dishes without the useless lids, which are only fit for the BIN! My review for just the glass, at a lower price, would be higher star rated (I just hope the glass is toughened as it should be)!
