Just opened the package (that was not very good, just the two pieces individually wrapped in bubble wrap in a flimsy paper bag) and the holders seem to be of really good quality.I will mount these in my back yard deck to hold an aluminium pole laid across a small pool to get a good angle for a cover tarp. Time will tell if the holders will stand the weather. I would expect so, since they are ment to be on boats in salty seas.Included screws are not recessed, as per the picture, so they will not be a good fit for the recessed holes in the holder bases. No big deal for me since I want to change them to screws with slotted heads anyway (looks better in my opinion).Deducted one star for the crappy packaging and the wrong type of screws.
