Diese Lampe wird von meiner Frau bei Ihren Näharbeiten benutzt und ist sehr hilfreich beim Einfädeln des Fadens und zur Überprüfung der Naht.

Insgesamt von der Leistung gut. Was gut gefällt ist, dass der Standfuß ausgesprochen stabil ist, selbst wenn man den Schwanhals hin und her biegt. Die Kraft der Lichtquelle dürfte stärker ausfallen. Die Lupe ist okay. Nutze sie für Handarbeiten. Möchte man allerdings ein Buch damit lesen, ist man immer angehalten das Buch hin und her zu wenden, da der Lupeneffekt nicht überall gleich bleibend ausfällt. Dennoch eine gute Anschaffung.

This glass is fairly hefty and solid, so should hold up well under general use. The lens is clear and with no weird distortions in both magnifications, and the light is bright and a neutral white. The lens is a quality plastic, so not likely to be easily broken, but could be scratched. Best to keep this in some kind of pouch or box rather than loose in a drawer. At 2X and 4X magnification, this is a perfectly good glass to have around for most common needs, especially with the larger main lens , but not suitable for things like jewelry making and other very detailed work.

I get really frustrated with my vision, especially the older I get. It's all over the place - one pair of glasses to read, another to watch TV, another to work on the computer, and yet another for driving and "walking around" - it's ridiculous. This magnifying glass saves me a step - for example, when I'm trying to read the ingredients or a recipe on some product or information about a medicine or something similar, I don't have to break out the reading glasses. I can keep my "walking around glasses" on and use this magnifying glass to light up the words and make them large enough I can read them.Anything that keeps me from having to take off one pair of glasses, put on another pair of glasses for a quick task, then switch back to the first pair - I'm thankful for. If you don't normally wear glasses and only use readers once in a while, this probably doesn't make sense - but if you wear glasses but also still need readers for certain things, I bet you understand. I do think 4 batteries seems like a lot - and they are not included - but I bet they will last a really long time before they need replacing. Love it!

The handle is shorter than the other magnifying glasses I own but I find that I really like that. The lens is GLASS which makes the optics clear and sharp. The handle and frame are soft rubber and does a good job of protecting the lens and providing a comfortable grip.The magnifying strength is not noted on the description but I estimate it to be between 5X and 8X compared to my other lenses.I only take off one star due to the fact that it doesn't come with a pouch to store it in. The glass lens will not continue to be clear and sharp should it become scratched, which glass is prone to doing. All-in-all I recommend the item and suggest getting a soft cloth bag to store it in.

This magnifying glass works well and it is far superior to my old one.Made with actual glass, the magnification is excellent and text shows clear and legible.This one is an excellent purchase.
