Nun haben die optrel-Ingenieure mit dem völlig neuen IsoFit-Kopfband einen neuen Maßstab gesetzt. Es ist das einzige Produkt weltweit, das sich in Weite, Länge und Höhe dreidimensional an jede Kopfform anpassen lässt. Deshalb gilt es als die perfekte Passform. Was unmöglich schien, wird durch eine geniale Konstruktion gelöst, die erstmals ein Liner-Fit-System verwendet. Dieses verbindet eine zweilagige Konstruktion mit zwei Stabilisatoren an Stirn und Hinterkopf. Die Innenlage und die Stabilisatoren sind mit äußerst bequemen Trikot-Textilpads ausgestattet. Mit jeder Drehung des mikroverstellbaren Drehrads schmiegen sich sowohl die Innenlage als auch die Stabilisatoren an den Kopf des Trägers an. Dabei bleibt die Außenschicht absolut stabil und sorgt für perfekten Sitz auch in extremen Arbeitspositionen, was bis heute ein ungelöstes Problem bei jeder ergonomischen Kopfbedeckung war. If you have a shaved head that is smaller than average and sit at a bench welding the same part over and over or using a turntable this may be a good headgear for you. If you weld out of position or have any amount of hair on your head this headgear will constantly annoy you. It forms tight to your head and only to the top and so much that you cannot wear a welding cap under it to protect your head from sparks, if you turn your head upside down at all your hood will fall off your head, your hair will constantly get pulled and caught in the headgear. I would suggest getting a comfortable head band on your regular headgear over getting this over priced headgear it is not worth the money after 1 week of use I'm putting original headgear back on

I guess folks have smaller heads in Switzerland. A buddy of mine ordered one and said he really liked it. I then ordered mine. It does not cradle my head, it cradles about 2/3 (Top) of my head. It flops around and is never in the same position after opening hood and then closing it again. Sometimes plenty of clearance for safety glasses and other times safety glasses are rubbing on my cheater lens. It is not set it and forget it. After messing with it and changing various strap lengths, I took it off and installed original head gear. I asked my buddy about his and he had removed IsoFit and re-installed the original head gear. He is a welding instructor and lifts the mask sever times per hour to look at students welds. He had the same problem with the headgear and the mask constantly needing adjustment. I also own a Lincoln Viking 3350 that has this type of cradling head gear and it fits great.
