Very study and looks great on my deck. Does not have a drainage hole, but for what i use it for, it works great.

Love this planter...BUT: It is *not* black! As an interior designer I assure you it is between a dark gray and charcoal. Not even close to black. Still love the color and the texture. Absolutely looks real for a light-weight Fiberglass. Another note: The bottom is not perfectly flat so just beware of any adjustments you might have to make if you are inserting a smaller, existing pot. Having said all this, I especially adore the tapered shape along with the real color and texture.

I liked the look of this pot a lot. I ordered three to use in an area where I couldn't risk having water leak if a plant was over-watered--it would catch the water like a dish would, but look nicer. I used these pots to hold plants already in plastic pots, so these were used as cachepots. Apparently I just gave a plant more water than it could hold for the first time, and water flooded out the bottom, over a wood shelf and into wall-to-wall carpet. It was unpleasant to deal with and very disappointing. It's past the return date, and they'd be difficult to pack properly without the original packaging (they were extremely well packed). I'm thinking I'll let the pot dry out then coat the inside with silicone.November 2019 - I'm amending this review for accuracy -- all of the pots leak, not just one of the three. If you're going to use them, either seal all of them on the inside, or use with saucers.

I ended up returning the planter as it was too small for my plant- (I measured the top and I am keeping it in planter) but it still sat at the top. Its a very good quality and the color is nice it just didn't work for me. This review is for customer service which is good.
