I've been looking for a good colander for several months and I finally found what I was looking for.- Solid thick aluminium construction- Good sized holes, but won't let spaghetti slip through- Sturdy cast feet and handles- Vintage good looksHighly recommended for straining pasta and vegetables. The holes may be a bit large for rice.
