Needed a little structure for the bottom of my backpacks. These are lightweight, easy to cut, but stiff enough to help give a little bit of structure at the bottom of a backpack so it can stay open better or stay more self-standing. I cut just the corners off to fit one into a Timbuk2 Parkside Eco from work, and trimmed about a one inch strip off each dimension to fit into the main compartment of an Aer City Pack Pro, which opens suitcase style very nicely, but the bottom flops down when fully open. The PH PandaHall Base Shaper fixes that floppiness and also seems to help the bag stand up better. The Parkside bag flopped inward with zero stucture when not full, so now it at least has a bit of a "base" - not self-standing, but is more structured for packing it. Was a quick 1-2 minute fix (just needed to cut the base shaper a little) with these Base Shapers. Do not notice any additional weight in the bags. These should be useful for any bag you want to stay open or stand up better on their own. Would recommend and would buy again.
