[I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review, as part of the Amazon Vine programme. That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]I requested the ‘Porssaut Canvas Egg Bags Fresh Egg Collecting Basket with 7 Pouches’ as they are perfect for collecting eggs from a neighbour who has just started selling chicken and duck eggs a few doors down from us.The pair of egg bags arrived and they are more colourful than I expected them to be, given the seller’s images. They are still the same fabric, but I would describe them as multicoloured not beige as described by the seller. The pattern on one of the bags has a bit of colour bleed on the base. The fabric is a woven polyester, which seems quite sturdy and whilst there are no washing instructions, I would think that they will be okay washed on a gentle cycle? They are great for the purpose which I intend to use them for and they would also be good for easter egg hunts, collecting eggs from your own hens (if you are lucky enough to have them), a lovely size for children to use to collect free range eggs too. Overall I am happy with these and the £14.99 price tag is fair for them both. 4 stars.

These egg baskets are a little more colourful than I expected from the product image. One of the chickens in the pattern is red with a green and blue tail, and another is dark blue which adds quite a lot of colour. I like colour though so I like it!The basket itself has a thin firm sheet of foam-like material on the circular base. The rest of the basket is of canvas-like fabric with no padding. Because the canvas is soft-ish, this basket provides slightly less protection for eggs than a harder-shelled supermarket egg carton would. Each egg hole is very large for chicken eggs so they don't stand up necessarily but may lie sideways within the hole. I'd say the holes are even big enough for large duck eggs! The holes are not totally isolated. The barrier between compartments is open at the bottom. But it provides enough of a barrier to keep the eggs separated nicely. The handle works well when transporting the eggs - a handle is something that the egg carton I had been using lacks, so this is a nice addition. It takes up a little more space on my counter than the half-dozen supermarket egg-carton I had been using up until now, so it's less compact but it's also prettier.
