I think this is the first time I've ever been disappointed to find out something was glittery, but the product images looked like this wax had white speckles in it - perfect for the starry theme I'm going for, as I was planning to use these on my wedding invitations. Not that the glittery look is BAD, it's actually truly very pretty, but just not what I wanted, and nowhere in the listing does it mention "glitter" or "sparkle" or anything that would insinuate these had sparkles mixed in with the wax. I could have done that myself, they just used basic holographic silver glitter, but I wanted white specks! Ah well. It's still pretty. The wax melts and performs just fine, though appears a little more purple and a little less indigo than the color looks in the images. That's fine, I planned on mixing these with a navy blue wax to get a spacey look anyway, and it turned out very pretty. I'm happy with these in the end, but they were not as I expected from this listing.

It has a little sparkle in it and is a deep gold color.

These little star shapes are a bit more expensive but well worth it. They are bigger than the octagonal shaped beads. So more wax. I think they have mica powder in them. The result is beautifully shiny. I have found Porxfly wax beads to be my favorite for quality, price and range of colors. I will buy these again

the quality of this wax is not great, it's extremely watery and not thick compared to other wax seal beads. The poured wax will spread almost immediately and is much harder to control, and using a wax seal makes the center quite thin and see-through as well (you can see the envelope flap through the wax).On the upside, the shimmer/glitter is very pretty and evenly distributed throughout, and because of how watery the wax is it melts quickly. How thin the wax is could be also used intentionally to make a translucent effect. However, due to how hard it is to control and how thin the wax it, I would not recommend this for a beginner.

These are the perfect color for my logo wax seals on my packaging. The added bonus is they have a tiny bit of large particle mica or glitter( I am not sure which) in them to give them extra sparkle.
