I gave it four stars generously because it is beautiful and as a plus-size person, it can be tricky finding choices, and this is beautiful. However, it smells horrible. I am not sure if it was worn and returned or stored someplace and it absorbed a smell. I like it enough that I am going to have it dry-cleaned. I am going to a 1920s dress-up event where I might use it, or I will find another fancy opportunity.

I have bought several shawls similar to this one that looked ok online but cheap up close. I’ve been looking for something to wear over an evening dress to cover my arms. The dress is pure silk, heavily beaded, and very elegant so I didn’t want to spoil it with a cheap shawl- I’m so glad I tried this one - it’s gorgeous. A bit dramatic, but quite lovely in black. An amazing bargain.

For the money, I thought this would be costumey or kind of cheap. This is very well made and there is so much beading, it is rather heavy. But in a good way. The fringe is beautiful. I bought this to wear with a dress that looks like it could pass for a flapper dress. They look beautiful together! I highly recommend this one!

The fabric is wonderful and heavy. I love the beadwork and sequins on it. It’s a great addition to almost any outfit and perfect for the warmer weather. I have broader shoulders and still was able to fit comfortably. Really is a great piece of clothing! Reduced to 4 stars because the seams are pretty visible and there is a super noticeable tag sewn onto one of the sleeves that needed to be gently removed with a seam ripper to avoid damaging the shawl’s fabric. I wear this when I want to dress up an outfit a bit. Great for date night!
