The ProtoArc EKM01 Plus Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse (ASIN B0DCVVXFJL) from ProtoArc is a workable setup.Components are entirely plastic and lightweight (a plus for anyone with dexterity/strength issues). Both the keyboard and mouse work as claimed, but absolutely will take some getting used to for those of you that have never used an ergonomic keyboard. The wrist support padding is just right for my needs (neither too bulky nor too thin) and both devices can connect VIA included USB dongle or Bluetooth. What really sets this (and most other ProtoArc devices) apart is that they can easily pair with (and remember) up to three different devices. At the press of a button you can use the devices to connect to your computer, tablet or phone. No need for multiple keyboards and mice setups. The icing on the cake? Both devices are rechargeable (type C ports) - no need to purchase additional batteries... and a charge lasts a long, long time (these put themselves to sleep if left idle for an extended period). Without a doubt this set more than meets my needs.I hope you found this enlightening and/or helpful to your decision making.

Ich wollte beides: Maus und Tastatur. Zudem ergonomisch.

This ergonomic mouse and keyboard combo offers nice peripherals that look and feel premium. Both the mouse and keyboard are wireless and can both switch between the included dongle and up to two more Bluetooth devices. This feature is really handy if controlling multiple computers through the same monitor, simply switch the input on the monitor and toggle the mouse and keyboard. One interesting aspect is that it only comes with a single dongle to control both the mouse and the keyboard, if the mouse and keyboard are split up only one will be able to use the dongle. Both the mouse and the keyboard have a spot to hold the dongle when not in use.So for the keyboard, I have not used too many ergonomic keyboards in the past so it is taking me some time to get use to the layout. The keys themselves feel very nice and have a nice tactile feedback, it reminds me of typing on a higher end laptop. The dedicated media keys in between the split of the keyboard is also very nice, you can quickly and easily adjust volume and media control. The keyboard has a comfortable wrist rest but unfortunately it is built in to the keyboard, it cannot be removed. I personally don't generally use the wrist rests as I find they take up lot of room. This is no exception, it makes the entire keyboard very large in both directions. The mouse feels pretty good overall, it is very comfortable in my hand. The shape is quite aggressive with a large bump for the palm and has a nice contour for my thump to rest. The plastic finish feels premium and feels good while using the mouse. At first I thought the sliding around part was not great, felt like there was some extra friction happening. Turns out there is some small plastic to remove on the sliding pads under the mouse, once removed the mouse slides on my mousepad with ease. The scroll wheel is ok, it has a very subtle tactile feedback when scrolling, I personally wish it was less subtle. The primary buttons are probably my least favorite part, they almost feel like they require too much force to actuate, I am sure this is something I will get use to overtime though. The click noise is on the quieter side but not silent, I personally like the clicking noise it makes.Overall I think this is a nice keyboard and mouse combo with lots of features. If you are in the market for a ergonomic keyboard and mouse combo that wont break the bank, this one is worth looking into.

Empfehlenswert!

Ergonomics make all the difference when it comes to productivity working in the home office or even simply for basic surfing. The EKM-01 keyboard and mouse set feels comfortable resting palms on its wide and plush built in wrist rest while typing. Combined together it takes up considerable space on desks, at nearly 48cm across for keyboard plus leaving room on sides for maneuvering the wireless mouse.// Here's my take on the keyboard.Input buttons are tactile even for low profile and chicklet style key caps with typewriter indentations. They're still plenty of rubber domed switches and can feel mushy on buttons like volume controls designed to be soft and easy to press. So what's the difference, a split key and angled shape but also means for me a lower typing speed and decreased accuracy creating an intense learning curve of figuring out buttons to press using left or right hand side. The latency across wireless is fast but isn't meant for multi key presses, creating duplicate input and misaligned sequences. Flipping out keyboard feet angles it gently creating a comfortable slope either direction. Curved key caps look great but to me requires sliding fingers across occasionally bumping into sides of keys.// Now for the wireless ergonomic mouse.Depending on adult hand size it grasps the entire palm with a upward slanted curve particularly around the thumb joint. Scroll wheel fluidly rotates alongside a DPI switch its high precision to switch task on. Feet underneath are simple plastic layers yet glide smoothly on glass desks or even wood mouse movement feels lightweight. Its not without flaws. Ergonomically mouse is limited by the traditional hand resting on top shape, side buttons for navigation pressing using thumb, and finger scrolling wheel. Still means I have to move around arms and wrist fair bit. Place designed to rest thumb has a rather sharp edge and hard to overlook.// ConfigurationSetup was driver less, plugging in the dongle and pairs up automatically but configuring some of its advanced shortcut keys is far from easy. Depending on platform, hotkeys end up running as Function buttons on Linux whereas controlling Volume or adjusting system settings on Mac. Having flexibility of pairing up between Android tablets over Bluetooth and then switch tasking to PC is just a push of connectivity buttons. While keyboard and mouse only has single USB dongle, it can pair 2 different Bluetooth devices. Wireless range disappointed glitching out mouse shifts after 5ft to 6ft distance but to be expected using nano USB receiver, twice as wide on BT mode.// Final ThoughtsThere's a lot going for this combo input device setup, being comfortable as its primary advantage but comes at a tradeoff of amount of space takes up on office desks and significant learning curve of typing on angled buttons. Constantly typing for hours on end I find it a more relaxing way of working having best of both wireless flexibility and ergonomics.

I love this ProtoArc keyboard/mouse combo set!Micro-switches are overrated. They are! The entire PCMR has been led to believe that the only keyboard worth a darn is one that has micro-switches and I'm here to tell you that's simply not true. Yes, high performance keyboards for gaming and specialty use see a huge benefit from this technology. But can you get excellent keyboards without? You bet you can - and you've found one right here.Everything about this keyboard and mouse combo screams premium. Plastics are all great quality and beautifully uniform in texture and colour. The keyboard offers angle/tilt adjustments forward and back. I found the integrated wrist rest to be one of the most comfortable I've ever used going back 40+ years (man, I wish the Commodore 64 and VIC 20 had keyboards like this back in the day!) The wrist rest is made with a textured PVC with just the right amount of padding to keep you comfortable but still provide a sturdy base so you can type like a speed demon when you want to. All the keys have a relatively short throw which makes speedy typing a breeze and the force required to actuate every key is a balance made in heaven. The ergonomic layout (combined with a standard layout for the editing and number pad keys) is just plain comfortable. The media control keys placed right between the left/right separated keyboard is a genius design move as it is effortlessly accessible with either hand and the separation of these additional buttons allows control without even having to look down. Seriously, it is a joy to type on this keyboard.Mouse operation is similarly awesome. The size comfortably accommodates everyone, even those like myself with very large hands. The non-micro-switch buttons still provide a tactile feedback while remaining ridiculously quiet. Other controls like the forward and back buttons are positioned perfectly above your thumb but never in the way of being accidentally clicked. The scroll wheel is another delight - it feels weightless but somehow stops exactly where your want. The DPI select button outside of software is a GREAT feature. You can quickly and easily switch between modes and the red LED flashes to tell you which mode you are on.Pairing with 2 additional Bluetooth devices is effortless and this, along with the included dongles allows you to quickly (and I mean QUICKLY) switch between and control 3 different PCs. There are dedicated buttons on the keyboard for each mode and the mouse has a select button combined with a white LED that tells you clearly which mode you are on.Battery life is epic. It's the kind of thing you do every few weeks or even months, even with heavy usage. Both the mouse and keyboard have wide-cable accessible USB C charging ports so you can use your fancy charging cables or even attach magnetic charging dongles if you prefer to go that route. Charging is indicated by red LEDs on both the keyboard and mouse. One nitpick I have about this mouse/keyboard combo:-the charging LED on the mouse should match the one on the keyboard - they are different brightnesses - VERY bright on the mouse but very dim on the keyboard. Given how infrequently charging happens this is obviously a minor nitpick. After testing this keyboard/mouse combo out for a few weeks I decided to replace my Logitech MX Mechanical keyboard and MX Master mouse for this set. I find it much for comfortable and ergonomic for daily driving than my grossly-overpriced and online-only software-bloated Logitech gear. And the ProtoArc dongles and Bluetooth options just work - every time and all the time.Highly recommended - this is easily my favourite keyboard and mouse combo of all time!
