Hatte vorher immer die Steckdosen mit Sensor, bzw. Gummitaster. waren alle nach ein paar Wochen defekt am Schalter. Hier dank des Wippschalters kein Problem mehr.

Ich habe die Steckdose in der Nähe des Autoradios eingebaut. Wenn sie benutzt wird stört sie den Radioempfang. Sowohl DAB als auch FM.

I replaced 12V socket of my car with this USB plug so I don't need separate car charger. Works like a charm, only minor issue is that the display is a bit hard to see at bright sunlight. Good value.

Bei der Ninja war leider eine Standard-KFZ Zigarettenanzünderbuchse verbaut die dann bei ein paar Wochen stillstand die Batterie leersaugte. Diese hier hat die selben Abmessungen, konnte sich problemlos einschrauben lassen in die vorgefertigte Öffnung nach Ausbau der alten. Durch den Ausschalter keine leere Batterie mehr und Standard USB A Anschluss.

It was wonderful scooting around watching the phone get charged from my scooter!This is a first-rate product.It's well made, with strong plastic, an on/off switch, and a protective cap.One thing... the cable isn't very long, so you may end up having to lengthen it.Very happy with this item.

When wired directly to the battery (via the included fuse) the power switch allows the USB charger to be powered off so it doesn't drain the battery.When wired to the accessory switched circuit that only operates when the ignition key is the ON or ACCESSORY position, the power switch can still be used to turn the USB charger on or off, but the smart USB charger remembers its previous state when the power is applied the next time. This is a huge advantage. I wanted the USB charger to come on with the ignition and turn off with the ignition, and that's exactly what it does. I turn it on once and it remembers that when the power is cycled. I didn't want to be forced to turn the USB charger on every time I turned the key in the ignition.Despite being an electrical engineer, I somehow managed to wire the USB charger in the opposite polarity when testing it prior to installation. Derp. It didn't work, but it survived my temporary stupidity. There must be a diode to protect the USB charger from ham fisted dufus mechanics. That's exactly as it should be, but sometimes manufacturers cut costs and eliminate protective devices. This is apparently a robust and durable design.The voltage reading is specified to be within .2 V of the actual voltage, and my USB charger agreed with another meter, to within at least .1 V.The only small complaint would be the slow refresh rate on the multiplexed LED voltage display. It looks fine when stationary but on a motorcycle or other vehicle with significant vibration, the numbers will appear blurry.
