What is really worrying is that 75microns seems to be high compared to other cheaper alternatives (30 or 50 microns) but upon receiving the goods, they seem to be 'normal' sleeves/pockets that I'm used to. Make you wonder what those cheap ones are like..These are good and I will recommend them to others.I prefer having a side opening.

The ones with the red spines or whatever they're called open at the spine side so that paper doesn't fall on the floor if you up-end your folder.The plastic is fairly thick, a reasonably sturdy compromise. It has a heavily frosted kind of texture. The benefit of this is that a stack of the won't be *crazy* slippery. They are merely somewhere between moderately slippery and very slippery. The disadvantage is that the texture catches the light from a wider angle and can make it more difficult to see what is inside if you're the kind that prefers to read from pages inside the pockets.The holes line up alright.One weird thing was that every pocket had a diagonal fold mark. It didn't happen in transit, so how are they are doing that? I take a mark off for careless handling.

I have repeat ordered these punch pockets as they are of great quality and value. The plastic is quite thick so they hold their shape unlike many punch pockets which just scrunch up. I love the side opener as it's much easier to get things in and out and you can get quite a lot of pages in one pocket. Also items don't fall out. Recommended.
