Die Arbeit mit dem Gerät ist nicht kompliziert. Aber FFP Mundschutz tragen. Heizt schnell auf und gleitet gut durch das Material. Nicht zu heiß einstellen, da dann die Klinge zu glühen anfängt, da wo kein Kontakt zum Material besteht. Zusammenfassend, bin ich zufrieden.

first and for most, the case is junk. it doesn't fit in the case with the tip on it. overpriced! it does get hot.

It's easy to attach and detach the heated blades for this foam knife - 4 screws to loosen and tighten with the hex wrench and voila!The knife itself works well on foam, doesn't take long to heat up, and gives a pretty clean cut.I'll probably just stick with the 6 inch blades, since they work the best with my projects. Either way, don't forget to take the (cooled) blade off and use the wire brush to clean it. If anything is left on it from use to use, the residue can catch on the edges of the foam and make the cut sloppy. (ask me how I know)The one nitpick I have with this foam knife is that it's well night impossible to get it back into the tool case, especially with the hex wrench, brushes, and blades. I have no idea how they crammed it in there to begin with, because regardless of how I angle it, it's a chore to try to get it closed. I'm going to migrate it someplace where I don't have to use the case. It would be fine for something else - it's just not big enough to easily store everything in this kit.

This works alright for what it needs to be used on. A little pricey in my opinion. Easy to use and doesn't take a long time to cool off.
