Was very disappointed with this. It rippled the pipe at every use. Will stick with my 15/22 pipe bender using the spoons.

Basicamente, uno de los mejores cortatubos que se puede comprar con dinero.

It arrived on Friday, pulled a 180 bend and it rippled the entire length of bend.Returned the brand new RIDGID £100 15mm 180 degree pipe bender, replaced with an identical model. It identically ripples too.Worst rippling I've ever seen on a pipe bender in 30+ years of using pipe benders.Types K, L, M (mostly American) pipe wall thicknessK = 1.24mmL = 1mmM = 0.7Types X, Y, Z wall thickness (Type X is the most common type used in UK)X = 0.7mmY = 1mmZ = 0.5mmSo our type X is .54 to .3mm thinner than types K & L.Additionally types K & L are 220 N/mm2 whereas type X is 250 N/mm2.Meaning, type X is semi hard drawn copper pipe, whereas types K & L are soft copper tube.Types K, L are generally used in refrigeration, air con, heat pumps.Types X & Y are used in water, heating, gas, within the home/light commercial. So unless you're in the minority who works solely in refrigerants/heat pumps then this tube bender is not for you.I've included some images, of the rippling by the RIDGID 'tube bender', and shown a comparrison to my old trusty hilmor 'pipe bender' with no ripples, how it should.
