Praktisch und auf der sichern Seite, wenn man den PC einmal für einige Zeit verlassen muss. Trotz Sicherheitssoftware habe ich einen Fremdzugriff auf meinem PC gehabt. Jetzt Schalter betätigen und PC mit ruhigem Gewissen verlassen.

Hat ein paar Wochen seine Funktion erfüllt. Danach nur noch gelegentlich.Musste dann die Trennung/Verbindung wieder über den Netzstecker regeln.Wohl billige Mechanik dahinter. Schade.

Inquiet par les commentaires négatifs, j'ai décider de tester ce produit pour en avoir le cœur net.J'ai effectué 20 manipulations (On/Off) et à chaque fois la coupure Ethernet était instantanée.Le retour sur On a une durée normale (Reconnexion au réseau), du moins, pas plus lente qu'une déco/reco d'un câble Ethernet sur un réseau en DHCP

Unabhängig der Schalterstellung wird eine aktive Netzwerkverbindung nach circa 5 Sekunden hergestellt. Somit funktionslos und Rücksendung.

I got one of these so I could turn my IP telephone handset when I finish work for the day without having to unplug the network cable from the phone or from the PoE switch. I didn't realise that the switch only kills the network connection, not the PoE to the device, so switching it off leaves my phone powered on but without a network connection. That was an oversight on my part, not an issue with the product at all. Just be aware that it can't be used to switch PoE devices fully on/off. It's a decent quality cable as far as I can tell and the connectors used at both ends seem pretty good.
