We were not sure about ordering a refurbished version. However, it looks new and works perfectly. Cheaper than a brand new one too.

The Ring doorbell works well, it’s a bit tricky to set up but seems to work well. I purchased a second battery so that it’s easy to change over quickly. Make sure that your WiFi has a good signal from your router, or you may have to purchase an extender, more money!

So far so good it was easy to install and connect the battery life is very good after 40 days is at 47%

Klingel ist OK und macht genau das was die soll. Lästig sind die Kosten für die Zusatzdienste (z.B. Videospeicherung usw.) aber zur Not kann man darauf auch verzichten.

It arrived but the mount I recived was an angle mount, nooo good for me so had to wait for for a stright mount to be delivered £12.99 can you get them on amazon errr no you can't after scrolling from page to page I went to the enemy you know the one it begins with E and ends in y, you can fit the bell directly to the wall but if it twist slightly the battery will not connect properly as I found out, any how the frame arrived and it went stright on the wall no problem then the security screw if you over tighten it, it pulls the bloody battery down so you loose Internet connection so there is a fine line only one mount in a refurbishment model and it's a lucky dip as to what you get and don't overtightene the security screw or you loose inter web but now it's working it is good, and buy a chime so everyone in the house can hear it as the sound will only come to the administrators phone unless you want everyone in the home to have the app on there phone. Update 1/11/24 this model was working well so went for the 3 plus as that sees a lot more ie 150 horizontal 150 wide were as the 3 is 160 wide and 84 horizontal the 3 plus is terrible no matter what I do it seems to only detect when people are actually at the front door sort of defeats the object and I have a very long path so the 3 plus is going back and I will keep my refurbished 3 that detects people a lot quicker, the 3 plus was brand new but still you only get the one mount which is the angle wedge so upgraded my 3 from 4 to 5 stars 🌟 as all new models come with one mount and it's angled.

wir hatten vorher die Blink und waren soweit zufrieden .Nur die dauernden Batteriewechsel alle 2 Wochen haben genervt. Habe mir bei der Ring durch moderne Technik auch eine bessere Qualität versprochen aber leider teilweise sogar schlechter als die Blink. Das einzig positive ist der verbaute Akku, den man nur alle 3 Wochen laden muss.

ich hab das Teil ausprobiert und wusste im Vorfeld nicht, dass die USP Kernfunktion bezüglich der Aufzeichnungen an einem Abo hängen (übrigens zahlt man hinterher pro Teil mehr). Ohne dieses kann man kriegt man nur die Meldung, dass jemand an der Tür ist, aber der Verbindungsaufbau ist dann im Regelfall zu langsam, um zu sehen, wer da gekommen ist, wenn diese Person nicht vor der Tür verweilt. Sprich, war da ein Paketbote, ein Briefträger eine verdächtige Person oder einfach jemand aus dem eigenen Haushalt - man weiß es nicht. Darüber hinaus dadurch dass hier mit W-LAN gearbeitet wird ist das System auch leider keineswegs sicher, wie man sich wägen möchte, da Diebesbanden heutzutage mittlerweile schon auch angepasst haben und W-LAN Störer einsetzen. Unnützer Unfug würde ich meinen. Gebt euer Geld lieber sinnvoller aus als in diesen Schnickschnack, der euch in falscher Sicherheit wiegt und noch dazu euch immer wieder Geld aus'm Beutel saugt.

This is a great doorbell - you won't miss anyone at your door like we've done many times in the past anymore as you get an alert on your phone when someone rings your doorbell.I purchased a no drill mount so literally just stuck it to my door and job done.Also I would highly recommend purchasing a Chime just in case you don't have your phone with you etc and someone rings the bell.I purchased this refurbished one and the battery was poor. After fully charging a few times, the battery life would drop from say 60% to 20% and not go anywhere in between and would only last for a couple of days. I did contact Ring on their live chat and they told me that I would need to get in touch with them via phone to troubleshoot it (which I'm not going to lie frustrated me as it's a refurbished product but with a warranty and how do you troubleshoot a battery that isn't holding charge properly)? I did contact Amazon however who kindly gave me a partial refund so I could buy a new battery.Good to have for a bit of security as well if you go on holiday etc.Highly recommended (but would recommend that you just spend a little bit more on a brand new one than a refurbished one in case you have battery issues).(I've also noticed that it's harder to hide my Amazon deliveries now that my partner gets notifications on her phone when someone rings the bell and she see's its a delivery!)
