Twice the capacity than the PECO CDU and better built. Like that my transformer just plugs into it.

I have this connected up to 8 points. I am no professional electrician but I'd say it works perfectly for my needs. The point before wouldn't alway move but now they always move into the fully over position. Can't ask for more.

Great value kit. I bought this to replace a Peco CDU which simply did not have the power to switch more than one Gaugemaster point motor. This has more than twice the capacity of the Peco one. Instructions for the kit are available on line - refer to them before assembling as it will save time later fixing errors. It really is basic electronic assembly for those who can solder. This unit will switch two Gaugemaster points at once but takes 4or5 seconds to recharge after doing so before it has the power to do it again.Update, I subsequently had to upgrade to an even bigger CDU and install larger cables to operate points at the other end of my 50ft layout to overcome voltage drop. But this is due to the size of the layout.

Bought the kit version, easy to put together, although no diagram supplied a download is available. Very pleased with it.
