This is a great amplifier! Go with good brands like RF. I connected 2 ohm loads to both speaker outputs so I could drive 4, 6 by 9 speakers. Considering each speaker is running at only about 40watts each, I can crank up the volume and the speakers stay crystal clear without any distortion. I don't even have the gain set high and there is no static like I experienced with non-reputable brands of higher wattage. Buy and look no more!

I recently upgraded my stock speakers to JBL components. After reading reviews a lot of people recommended the addition of an amplifier so I got this. I’m glad I did. It really wakes up a system! Sounds incredible. Very powerful and small enough to fit in a storage box under one of the seats in my 2cnd gen Tacoma access cab. Definitely worth every penny. If your upgrading your speakers, I highly recommend the addition of this amplifier. Just incredible, I’m a very happy camper!

Great value! I got this amp for about $65, new from Amazon warehouse and it is great.I replaced a fosgate PBR 300x1 with this amp, driving a JL 6.5" sub in a custom box I built for the back of my Audi A4 B6 Avant (2002-2005). Although the PBR was technically rated better for the JL sub (75watts RMS), it was a bit constrained in the low end, I just could not find a sweet spot even with the RF bass remote (which makes a huge difference).This R150x2 was such a good price I gave it a shot, yes it's much bigger than the PBR but that extra bit of power and the additional frequency head room helped me dial in my sub a bit better.I am very pleased with this amp and its features (high level inputs are helpful) and the EQ/Gain settings work well.
