Die Buttons, mit denen man das Rhytmusspiel spielt, sind sehr schwamming und ungenau. Ungünstig. Der integrierte Lautsprecher klingt auch nicht wirklich toll. Das Spiel ansich ist eine nette Idee, die Umsetzung eher mangelhaft.Der Preis ist mit ca. 16€ dann auch einfach viel zu teuer. 2 Sterne von mir.

This is a nice little game kept the kids busy for a while. Different levels which get really hard!

Ok but you get what you pay for

Bought to entertain kids on road trips and they are a huge hit. Our boys ages 7, 6, 4, and 2 all love playing with them.

“Guitar Hero” without a screen is a good idea in principle, and initially this game is pretty entertaining. But there are some very clear limitations that will make its appeal short-lived, and which as parents will drive you to wanting to take the batteries out.It’s reasonably intuitive and after a few clicks I got the hang of it quite easily. The instructions on the back of the box are quite poorly worded, but the buttons themselves are clearly marked and it’s easy to pick it up and get started.For a rhythm game, the points scoring system is actually quite forgiving, bordering on faulty. The key thing to score a point is to hit the relevant button when the lowest light is illuminated, which at times can be quite far away from where the beat is. I found I was concentrating more on the lights and trying to ignore the music, which was throwing me off rather than helping, and some of the patterns, especially on the easier levels, didn’t feel all that rhythmic at all.The music isn’t anything that I recognised, but the sound quality of the built-in speaker isn’t all that good so it hardly matters. That brings me to my biggest complaint about this toy. Where oh where oh where is the headphone socket? If there had been a headphone socket on this toy, it would’ve been so much more playable in so many more situations. It could’ve made a good toy for long car journeys, or for a bit of quiet time at home, or on public transport. But as it is, if you tried to play this game on public transport, it’s so noisy even at the lowest volume that it would be embarrassing at best, and you might get complaints.There are other more ambitious ways that this toy could’ve been futureproofed- for example a microSD slot or AUX socket and a little bit of electronics for detecting the speed of the music wouldn’t have added all that much to the cost or complexity (I reckon), yet it would’ve made it possible to play the game with almost any song, which would have opened up a whole other world of playability.The build quality is alright for the price. The four main big buttons that will get hammered during gameplay have a good responsiveness and durability to them, and the whole device feels solid enough that it will survive an accidental drop. The battery compartment doesn’t just pop open, it needs a screwdriver to open it.The device needs three AAA batteries, which aren’t included. We’re using rechargeable ones so it doesn’t feel quite as eco-unfriendly but it still feels like quite a dated toy, with a plastic shell that’s more 1990’s than 2020’s. But nowadays, a little internal battery or a USB-C power input would’ve been nice.I’m torn between giving this three stars or four stars. For what it is, it’s quite well made, and intuitive, so despite the limitations, I’ll go with four. If it had a headphone socket, I might even have given it five stars.

A simple and fun yet challenging little gaming device. I love the rhythm-based game play, and appreciate the simple mechanics. Kids like the game but at times get frustrates as it becomes harder. The sound feels quite loud, and batteries aren’t included although required. No deal breakers, but a little something to be desired. Overall a nice fun product and I’d recommend it.

Unser kleiner hat sich sehr über das Rythmusboard gefreut. Anfangs musste ich als Erwachsener auch kurz überlegen wie denn das Spiel genau funktioniert, das war aber nach kurzer Zeit klar :-)Lautstärke lässt sich zum Glück regulieren ;-)Würde es wieder kaufen
