Quality is not there. When arrived kit was complete and looked like any other I had bought in the past. Install was straightforward with no surprises. As this is a job that normally needs done every 5 years or so I was happy when it was done and was expecting to not have to deal with it for a few years. However after only 3 months of use my exhaust and drive bellows started falling apart. The rubber just crumbled. Maybe this was new old stock that’d been sitting and dry rotting idk. Luckily the boat isn’t kept in the water, it’s trailered home after every outing. If it had been In the water for storage it’d of been at the bottom.In short save your money, get a kit from mercruiser direct or research a quality kit. For what it takes to replace, possible downtime, and possible loss of your boat. Stay away from this particular product.

Kit was pretty easy to install. After 2 months I noticed water in the bilge. The shift boot was ripped. I grabbed it and a piece broke off. It was dry rotted. My last one made it 10 years. I'm thinking maybe this was old stock?
