I bought these to insert in my Walker Bay oarlock holes since Walker Bay uses a 5/8" oarlock shank, and you can't find them any more. All you can find is 1/2". These were advertised as for 1/2" shank oarlocks, but there was no description of how thick the walls were, or for what size they hole they were for. I bought them in the hopes that they were, surely, at least 1/16" wall thickness . . . no such luck. They are so sloppy in the holes as to be useless. Appear to be adequately built, but a description of the actual outside diameter of the insert would have been helpful. Not worth the trouble of returning.
