I use one of these pins to hold a flag pole in its mount. I was surprised by the apparent quality of these pins when I got them. They look and feel like actual marine equipment. I've had it installed for a short time so far and no apparent rust has formed. The pole I used this on is a 1.5" pole that sits inside a mount. The pin is a little longer than what I need but it has no effect on the performance. If I needed this again, I would buy these.
