I think these are good for offensive linemen (like myself) wanting something super thin and minimalist that comforms well.They are enough to save your knee cap from getting banged up a bit by e.g. a pancaked maybe, but otherwise pretty minimalist for knee protection and I probably wouldn't recommend for e.g. receivers.If you want a suggestion for more protection but good fit for most pants: try out Riddell Bio Lite size M. Or maybe a 7 pad girdle like the TAG 7 pad or Alleson Athletic 7SIPG2 7 pad girdlesAlso doesn't stay in position the best with pants that have bigger pants pockets and a looser fit (using XL champro blocker pants). If you have Uber tight pants with smaller pockets that would be best.

these removable kneepads are good enough for middle school football however, I wish they were a little thicker and we’re not as large
