Easy to install. Mine was awkward because the gate is against a wall and it did not leave much room to access two of the screws. Also a long drill was required to go through the gate jamb. Once installed it works well. I also installed a large spring closer and the two together make sure the gate is closed and won’t blow open in the wind.

Great product, very easy to install, need a long drill for the gate post. Also you can add a pad lock to the latch for added security , if you are going away

Really pleased with this lock , it was easy to fit and now i can use my gate without looking for the keys all the time

Easy to install and works well. Only problem I had is I dropped the tiny grub screw and couldn't find it so had to order box of various size ones to get the right size which was tiny. Might have been a good idea to include extras from clumsy people like me as at 3mm it's a bit fiddly and easily dropped. Other than that really like and now my gate latches and is openable from both sides.

Der Tor / Tür Schließer lässt sich sehr einfach und schnell installieren, leicht anfassen und macht zuverlässig was er Soll.Schrauben habe ich gleich andere genommen.Er könnte gerne noch etwas massiver sein.

I've never seen a catch like this before and was trying to work out how to put something on my catio that I could open from both sides but would still be safe. I have a sliding bolt on the inside but as it's attached to the back of the house I couldn't work out how the kids could go in and out without the cats escaping.Then I found this mechanism and it was perfect. Took me a few seconds to drill a quick hole for the wire and fit the catch and it's perfect. My kids have no issues going in and out and I can relax and know the cats are safe.Closes neatly, easy to open with the wire, I didn't use the string because of it being outside. My youngest has scratched her hand on the end of the wire a couple of times where it feeds through the latch but nothing serious and now she's more careful with how she grabs at the outside latch.Genius and very well recommended.Update: it's 2 years later and I've just swapped my door to open the other way around so removed and reinstalled the latch on the other side of the frame and it still works perfectly. It has withstood 2 years of British weather and the many demands of an excitable child slamming the door on the way to the garden toys and a grumpy teenager slamming the door just because.I still get comments on how smart an idea it is and am about to buy another for my potting shed so I can shut the door when I'm in there for warmth but still easily get in and out.
