Ihr Warenkorb ist leerDas ALPHA Besteckset von Sea to Summit besteht aus Löffel, Gabel und Messer. Die Besonderheit des Sets: an den Enden befinden sich 3 verschiedene Sechskantschlüssel (M5, M3, M4), die kleinere Reparaturen an der Ausrüstung ermöglichen. Der mitgelieferte Mini-Karabiner hält das Set zusammen und lässt sich prima am Rucksack befestigen. Verwendet wird die aus der Luftfahrt als sicher und langlebig bekannte hart anodisierte matte 7075-T6 Aluminium-Legierung, die das Besteckset zugleich stabil und leicht macht. Aufgrund der Legierung nicht spülmaschinengeeignet!

Praticamente una truffa! Ho ricevuto le posate in una confezione diversa da quella raffigurata (vedi foto) e, guarda caso, manca la cosa più importante: la scritta "7075-T6 Aircraft Alloy", quindi le posate, spacciate per essere realizzate in 7075-T6 (che poi è l'Ergal, famosa lega di alluminio e zinco usata in campo aerospaziale) sono invece realizzate in qualche indefinibile scadente metallo riciclato made in China (come riportato sul retro della descrizione). A dimostrazione di questo c'è il fatto che, sempre sul retro della confezione, c'è scritto "not dishwasher safe", non lavabile in lavastoviglie! Non è finita: il cucchiaio ha un'inclinazione del manico improbabile, non ergonomica, che non ne consente un utilizzo normale (probabilmente un errore di produzione). Siamo di fronte ad un prodotto di basso livello, riuscito male, spacciato per qualcosa di molto tecnico: lasciate perdere! Ripeto: trattasi di truffa.

Das Set ist leichter als unser bisher verwendetes Tupperware-Kunsttoff-Besteck, es ist wirklich eine Überraschung, wenn man es das erste Mal in den Händen hält. Die raue Oberfläche kann anfangs irritierend sein; nach einigem Gebrauch gibt sich das aber, sei es aus Gewöhnung oder weil man es beim Spülen glatter poliert. Das Messer ist nicht gerade scharf, eher wie das oben erwähnte Kunststoffbesteck. Der Löffel hat im Lieferzustand eine ungewohnte Form. Man kann ihn vorsichtig flacher biegen, muss aber aufpassen, dass an der Beigestelle die Beschichtung keinen Schaden nimmt. Überhaupt ist die Haltbarkeit der Oberfläche ein mögliches Problem, das ich nach wenigen Wochen aber noch nicht einschätzen kann.

...daher super für Wanderer oder Biker geeignet. Noch besser wäre das Set, wenn es dazu ein kleines Aufbewahrungsbeutel geben würde (wegen Hygiene, Klappern und gegen Beschädigung anderer Artikel im Rucksack.

I have an older item by Sea N Summit, made out of orange plastic, feels good in the mouth without the metalic flavour.Also, the way the spoon and fork are designed ... un-natural.Unlike normal ones, the shape is weird ..オススメ出来ませんＳｅａ Ｎ Ｓｕｍｍｉｔの他の奴の方が良いと思いますEDIT: After a week of using this product I stopped using it.Tastes horrible in the mouth. The metallic taste is so bad it just ruins the food.この会社のプラスチックの奴結構気に入ったですけど、このアルミか鉄のバージョンは全くダメ。やっはりオススメ出来ません。

I own this set, plus an optimus titanium set and several nylon double-ended foon/spork thingies. I have used them all for over five years, at least. Of them all the sea to summit is my favorite. First off, to avoid confusion, these are made of aluminum alloy, not titanium like the optimus set. This means they aren't as strong, but they are lighter. Not including the clips (which I lost a long time ago for both sets), the sea to summit set weighs 37 grams. The optimus set weighs 49 grams. Plus, the implements are larger on the sea to summit set. For reference, my home-use stainless weighs 119 grams (for a salad fork, teaspoon and butter knife).Between the optimus and the sea to summit, both have served very well, with the only damage being to the optimus spoon (due to abuse). I treat both sets as being somewhat more fragile than regular stainless, but I haven't had any trouble. I do prefer the sea to summit spoon to the optimus. It is larger and has a deeper bowl. It is a much better soup spoon than the optimus (though the optimus is perfectly acceptable).Another nice touch is that the carabiner holes in the sea to summit set double as wrenches. I have never used them, they would probably fail (being aluminum) on any kind of frozen nut, and I likely wouldn't remember I had them if I ever did need them, but it shows a level of care in design and manufacturing that I really appreciate. Each wrench is a different size, and it is a neat design feature.When I backpack, I don't carry the knife with me on either set, and sometimes I only carry the spoon. But the handle is longer than the nylon foons, and I find them more convenient and pleasant to eat with. I have been very happy with this set, and if mine were lost or damaged, I would buy another set without hesitation.

Love this bit of kit so light, good edge on the knife, fork and spoon are just the right shape would recommend.
