Ich hätte mal lieber die Kommentare lesen sollen :-(. Alle Platten somit unbrauchbar. Interessanterweise laufen sie auch nicht an einem SAS Controller. Sie laufen nicht mal an :-(

La référence est la bonne dans le titre mais pas la mention "SATA"' il est en connecteur SAS.2 emballages bulles antistatiques mais clairement insuffisants pour ce type d'article.Conseil complémentaire pour la gamme EXOS qui réclame un très bon ampérage pour démarrer. II est souvent nécessaire de prendre un adaptateur MOLEX vers SATA/SAS pour garantir un démarrage du disque, l'ampérage des alim en SATA directement ne sont pas toujours idéales.

The listing says this is a SATA drive but it is a SAS drive and NOT compatible. Returning for a refund.

These are not SATA as the listing states, but instead SAS!This destinction might not matter to you if you use a sas controller/backplane, but won't work with SATA which can also be found in common PCs!

All drives tested passed the following test sequence:1. SMART - Short2. SMART - Long3. badblocks - "-ws -b 4096"4. SMART - LongOf note, the drives seem to be more consistent than the last batch of WD Red Pros I tested. In that batch, I had one drive fail to complete the tests, and their testing completion times were all over the place.In all fairness, the WD Red Pros came in separate cardboard boxes with the standard plastic supports at each end. These Exos drives were shipped in a box with superior padding, which I was extremely impressed with. Your mileage may vary, as my order came from a marketplace seller (who deserves top marks).Lastly, while their spin up noise(s) did make me concerned at first, I am now a believer after seeing all six pass initial testing (and much more consistently than the Red Pros). If integration goes smoothly with this first batch, I think I will switch to the Exos line going forward.

I was happy to find this HDD at decent price, but delivery got delayed, and then simy canceled. Now I need to place a new order but prices are massively up. I find this practice not to the usual standard of Amazon!

A good general purpose hard disk. Fast and silent.Keep in mind it won't work on regular mainboards or cheap NAS-systems, because it requires a SAS-controller.
