Die Platte iast von 2016 und hat etwa mehr als die Hälfte ihres angegeben Zeitraumes geschafft. Mit 139 Euro war sie bisschen sehr teuer, gemessen am Alter und Laufzeit. Da ich nicht oft einen Zugriff benötige , reicht es eventuell. Zu Platte selbst, optisch ok, aber mit Windows hauseigenen Tools nicht nutzbar. Es ist keine Formatierung möglich. Auch Seagate Tools stellen fest, dass die Platte in Ordnung ist, aber gefunden wird sie dann auch nicht in Seagate Tools. Erst als SeagateDiscWizzard.exe installiert habe, konnte ich die Platte in Win11 mounten und richtig formatieren. Also nach gefühlten 2 Stunden Frustinstallationen war ich dann mit der Platte im Windows. Installiert ist die Platte mit einem USB 30 Gerät. Also nicht aufgeben.

I got 3 of them and are Running 24/7 on my NAS no problems.I did run the SMART extended test and IRON wolf test on all of them and found no issue whatsoever.

I bought two of these to upgrade from an 8TB RAID 1 to a 10TB RAID 1. Additionally, they were going into a more capable QNAP TS-264 NAS as a fresh start, and the old NAS and its 8TB drive went on the shelf for now.

Ob die Platten defekt oder zu langsam für meine Anwendung sind, kann ich nicht beurteilen.Bei der Rückgabe möchte der Verkäufer eine Retourengebühr.Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, dem bei Kauf zugestimmt zu haben.

I think the Ironwolf HDDs are very good, but . . . don't drop them several feet onto a tile floor. The tile is like rock. They can be damaged. So I have one that works most of the time, and I bought another one.
