I purchased this to control my 3.8kW hot water immersion heater - relying on the 240VAC rating of 16A. Whilst it worked initially, it soon cut out with a thermal warning. I rewired it as suggested to avoid using it as a terminal block, to reduce the current flowing internally. Still went over temperature. So I purchased a 20A DIN rail contactor and used the output from the Shelly to drive that. That resolved the over heating issue, but I had to pay the extra for the contactor and house it externally.So my advice would be to use the Shelly to drive an external contactor rather than rely on the 16A rating for 204VAC for high current applications.I found the Shelly connections a bit small and fiddly.Apart from those points it is a very good device. The iPhone controller software is extremely good. I absolutely recommend it; just don't put too much current through it.

Hab Tasmota geflasht. Funktioniert insgesamt super. Hab bislang nur einen Nachteil entdeckt: Nach Stromausfall funktioniert PowerOnState leider nicht mit Tasmota 13.1.0Bleibt immer aus. Auch eine Rule tut es nicht. Vllt bin ich nur zu ungeschickt

Ich benutze den Shelly Plus 1PM um mein Balkonkraftwerk zu überwachen.Es zeigt mir genau an wie viel Watt gerade erzeugt werden. ( Tag, Woche, Monat und Jahr )

Erg handige verpakking met voldoende aansluitmogelijkheden. Past in wanddozen van electriciteit.Elegante shelly applicatie waarmee zeer veel instelmogelijkheden eenvoudig worden mogelijk gemaakt.Maar werkt ook in andere home-automation programma's.Top product!

Mit shellys kann man so viel machen das ist schon genial. Ich habe meine Klimaanlagen an shellys angeschlossen damit der Verbrauch gezählt wird und ich hatte noch nie Ausfälle. Selbst wenn Mal das Internet ausfällt verbinden sich die Geräte sofort neu ohne das man irgendwie tätig werden muss.

Ja, die Shellys sind klasse. Wenn man mal draufgekommen ist, will man sie nicht mehr missen, auch als Nicht-Elektriker. Ich messe damit den Ertrag vom Balkonkraftwerk und steuere gerade die Weihnachtsbeleuchtung. Noch nie so einfach ein Gerät konfiguriert.
