Just installed the Claris FD, replacing an older Sora. The Sora had a screw on the back of the cage, which allowed the chain to be removed. The Claris cage is fully riveted, so chain has to be broken to thread thru the cage. Required a chain break tool, and possibly a new pin. Adjustment was easy enough after that.

As with all front derailleurs, the mounting position requires some precision. There are some great YouTube vids on how to do it right. This worked great to replace a broken SORA. The tab that holds the spring broke, which I guess is a common problem with SORA. The spring looks to be much better attached on this one.

クランク取り替えたのでFDも取り替えました。取り付けFD変速調整も簡単でした 。古いFDより変速は綺麗に決まるようになりました。
