Unfortunately I wasn't able to use this product as I chose the larger sized model and the paper towels I buy are too short . I actually tried 3 different brands and they are all too short, had I got the smaller one it would've been fantastic. Very solid , it stuck under my bench surprisingly well and I'm so sad my paper towels don't fit - it quite honestly would've been perfect for what I needed. Check the sizing before buying , imo standard paper towel rolls in Australia would only need the smaller sized holder.

I was pretty skeptical about this product, considering there's no ratchet bar and it's made entirely of plastic. But I decided to give it a shot since I'm trying really hard to reclaim as much of my precious counter space as I can.My husband used the adhesive strip to install this, as I'm not yet sure about where I want the final placement to be. He was very impressed, not only were the adhesive strips custom cut to fit the mounting perfectly but there are piloted holes in the strip (for those who may want to use both the adhesive and a screw) and there are 2 custom strips! Because who hasn't screwed up an adhesive mount at least once? There is also an extra screw and anchor, this is very thoughtful!The instructions were easy-peasy to follow, we let the bracket sit after install for a few hours prior to adding the paper towel. It was a little tricky to put in, since it's a spring action hold, I found it easiest to pull down the bottom half, seat the roll, then lift the top to insert the top of the towel roll. It holds well, even though there is no ratchet, the spring holds the towel tightly enough such that it's not spinning freely, but if you are just to grab and yank a bunch of towels will come out. You have to pull out and then down (or up) to actually separate the towels.Overall, I think it is a well-engineered paper towel roller, it is thoughtfully packaged and the manufacture included extra hardware and custom adhesive strips (*Chef's kiss*). But this isn't a rachet system, and you do need to actually pay attention if you are trying to tear one at a time, and if you pull too hard it is possible to pull the towels out of the bracket. I chose to hang the bracket on the side of my cabinet because this angle makes it a little easier to tear one towel at a time. Hopefully it holds us, it doesn't seem like it'll be a sturdy as a metal one, but we shall see. For only $20, its worth a try!

This paper roll is made of quality material and looks pretty well built and designed.I ordered white to match my kitchen color scheme and look beautiful after installing.It comes with screws and two strips of double sided tape and that is what I used to install it under the cabinet as I am still trying to finalize its place and did not wanted to use the screws.Hopefully the tape is also of quality and is able to hold it for a longer time and doesn’t give away due to weight, continuous use or other factors in the kitchen.The roll holder arm is expandable from both sides to adjust the paper roll and it has a decent grip on the roll that allows you to pull multiple sheets if pulling straight and if you pull sideways it will block the roll jut a bit for you to be able to tear the sheet.I liked it a lot and would definitely be using it for a long time.
