I originally purchased a much less expensive brand of monopod for an upcoming garden tour. It fell apart the first time I extended the tubes all the way. The Slik monopod is about three times more expensive, but the quality difference is obvious from the moment you first touch it. It also includes a decent (for the price) ball mount. It has a written three year warranty and clear instructions in English and Japanese. The ball is screwed to the monopod and to the camera and both connections depend on friction to keep them from loosening. Something to watch.I have had a lightweight Slik tripod in my home studio for years and have been impressed with how sturdy it is and how well it has performed over the years. Like my tripod, this monopod is intended for light duty and would not be suitable for a heavier professional camera, but it appears it will be up to the challenge with my little EOS and 18-200mm lens. All in all, I hope it will be a good compromise between price and quality.

I am very happy with this purchase! I use it on my GoPro Hero 8 and it is by far better than other sticks i had. It is also super long so it can be used for creation of drone-like vids.

Product is fine. But the promotion discount information was not correct. MRP on website was 19k and about 90% discount. But on actual product is 5K. This is quite a misleading buying information

Very nice monopod, very convenient to have the ball head already attached, which makes it a great value. The pole is very sturdy. I read a review that the very bottom slide-out pole was "bendy", but I actually took both hands to that bottom section and could not bend it even when I tried. It's lighter than I expected, but still substantial. This item may not be what professionals want to invest in, but for me to take pictures of my son's graduation and scenic photos on vacation when I need my big telephoto lens, this monopod really fits the bill! Very pleased with this purchase.

This monopod from Slik offers just what I was looking for: a very light mono pod that also collapses very short while extending tall when you need it, and has that important pivoting ball head top mount. So, I guess you can say this one has it all, at least for my own purposes. It's light enough that it doesn't get in the way when you are trying to shoot, and the fact that it collapses so short really helps when it comes to packing it away or even dangling it off a bag or belt. The quality, like most Slik products, is very good. The latches open and close with definitive precision, the legs expand out almost effortlessly, and the latches close right back up with little effort. The finish is nice, too, making it look nice without drawing to much attention to itself. It's a great camera accessory for those times when you need a little bit of extra stability but cannot (or don't want to) fool around with a tripod. Five stars.

I recently picked up a Lumix DMC-FZ70 which has a 60x zoom. Figured I needed a bit of help for long shots, despite it having amazingly good stabilization. This is a nice combination of light and sturdy and it's tall enough for me (6'2") to not have to stoop over to use. I like the flip locks instead of twists - I can open this and set it up by feel in darkness. The ball head is just enough to compensate for non-vertical shots and seems to lock adequately. It's a lot of monopod for the money, there are better ones out there but I'm not sure I could justify spending 2x or more when this one works great.
